On Tuesday June 7, Richie turned 70. He slept all day the day before but was awake most of the day on his birthday. Things started going downhill in the evening. He had a tough night and struggled to breathe the next day. On Thursday, his breathing quieted down until he gave his last breath. It has been fourteen months that he has been fighting for his life.
He deserves to rest in peace as he is starting his new adventure.

Thanks for all your concerns and prayers through the last fourteen months.

Thank you Nicole and Sandeep for letting us know.

My heartfelt sympathies and love to you at this time, Nicole.

He is fondly remembered, even by this distant stranger.

Coincidentally, my father passed away on the same day.

Thanks Sandeep.....and condolences likewise to you.

another.

Thanks Nicole and Sandeep for letting us know and best to Nicole and
family. All of us have missed Richard. He held our little virtual
family together.

Same Patrick and Sandeep. I'm sure that many of us on this board have
aged/ill parents and can at least have a sense of the loss.

All the best,
Gary

Thanks Gary...... as you see, *we* are still here!

(now I'm off to London to see my 93 year-old mother, having missed my
dad by a couple of weeks)

Best to all,

Patrick

I knew this day was coming quite a while back,
but chose not to mention it. Having said that;

Richard was always welcome on these boards,
I can honestly say that I never remember
him being confrontational in any kind of
aggressive way. His comments were always
just his unique expression put into words.

Richard and I had several e-mail conversations,
his recent trip to see Bob was one of them.
He had expressed how happy and satisfied he was
with that trip to see the guru.

I am very sorry and sad that Richard is no
longer with us, he is dearly missed.

Jai Guru Dev-

Long Live The Guru!

Thanks Nicole and Sandeep for letting us know.

Nicole: you have my deepest sympathy. I was very saddened by the news
and I think he represents a loss for many of us...

All the best..

Antonella
