Setting up Advisor

Hi, I'm a Mechanical Engineering student and I wanted to use Advisor in a research. I tried opening up Advisor following the "read me" document. I extracted all the folders from the package and changed the directory just as said in the text. But when I type "advisor" in the command window, I get some error messages. The matlab version is 6.0.0.88 Release 12
