There's a discussion going on here about using internet discussion
groups (such as this one) and blogs for adult faith formation. What
about other e-communications? How are you using: emails, e-
newsletters, social networks (MySpace, FaceBook, LinkedIn), Online
Videos, YouTube, Blip.tv, podcasts, radio, videostreaming, cable tv?
(For some thoughts and ideas, see "Build Real Community in a Virtual
World" in the October 2008 issue of Today's Parish Minister.

AAHHHHH!!!! Information overload! I'm just now getting my feet wet with an
online discussion group!!! What in the heck is videostreaming anyway???
Just kidding....although at times it can all seem overwhelming. Actually, I
couldn't survive without e-mail. Anyone that participates in any of my
adult formation activities anymore gets asked for their e-mail address, and
boy do I use it! Phone tag is simply not an effective use of one's time!

By the way, Janet, are you sure it was the October issue of Today's Parish
Minister? I couldn't find the article in the table of contents.
