Media RSS has some nice features, however think I've decided I don't
like it.

Being a proper extension rather then just using existing fields, it
has the ability to associate a lot more different types of meta-data
along with a video.

However the RSS specs themselves aren't very detailed and parsers have
sketchy implementation when it comes to enclosures. No one seems to be
able to work out if RSS supports multiple enclosures or not. It seems
not.

This means that each video would require a separate post, even when
these videos are related.

Media RSS seems to allow for multiple assets, but as remote players
and not embedded content, or so it seems.

Taking some of their ideas, merging it into Atom instead of RSS, and
extending AdultATOM in that direction in future is a likely solution.
Although this extensions planning should start now in-case there are
critical elements that need to be included early in the development.

At this stage AdultATOM remains pure Atom, although length has been
bastardised.
Atom with multiple enclosure contents isn't formated as nice as
MediaRSS when viewed in IE however.

Whereas MediaRSS is an extension not supported by all readers....

While any added AdultATOM extension added wouldn't be supported by
any.

However.... AdultATOM is B2B and isn't intended for surfers readers,
but instead affilates websites.

Delay any extension as long as possible seems like the best course
atm.
While not going further then the atom:link-length hack in the
meantime.

Yes I feel the same way, MRSS isn't flexible enough.
