Dear ProLiteracy member, GED® Testing Service has just released the Assessment Guide for Educators to help you learn about the new 2014 assessment. The Guide provides an overview of the assessment, the assessment targets for each content area, description of cognitive levels, item types, and more. The Guide will be released in three chapters—the first is available now at www.GEDtestingservice.com/assessment. You must register to download each chapter. Assessment Guide for Educators
To give an overview of the content and to help answer your questions, GED® Testing Service will hold a one-hour webinar at 4 different times about the first chapter of the Guide. Subsequent webinars will follow the release of each of the other two chapters. You will have opportunities to engage with and hear more from GED® Testing Service at key national and local conferences this spring and summer. They will also be adding resources to their website in the coming months. ProLiteracy will continue to keep members informed on the latest GED® test developments in order to help prepare for the new test in 2014. For news about the 2014 test as well as resources and products to help your students pass the current test, visit the GED® Teacher Resource Center at www.newreaderspress.com/GED.

Thanks. Read the first chapter yesterday, and it was great to get the first "lexicon" of the useful vocabulary for 2014.
Thanks,
