new  Free GED® Test Prep Handbook: Lesson Plans and Test-Taking Strategies

People who take high-stakes tests often prepare with specialized test-prep courses. To give our students the same advantage and help them pass the 2002 GED tests, we are pleased to offer a handbook of lesson plans and test-taking strategies that target GED test prep – answering different types of questions, planning and writing the essay, solving math word problems, managing time and stress, etc.

These free, downloadable PDF lesson plans are now available at GED® Test Prep Handbook, a new page on our GED Teacher Center website.  You can download the entire handbook or a single test area, such as Language Arts, Reading. The lesson plans are based on our popular Pass the GED workbooks, which are featured below. Lesson plans are flexible, so you can either integrate them into regular classroom instruction or use them as a “fast-track” or “boot camp” course.
