Subject: [COABE-Region2] GED test scores set to expire for millions -- helpspread the word

I wanted to share with everyone on the list that we officially launched the materials and web pages for the closeout campaigned titled “Your Future Is Calling” last week during National Adult Education and Family Literacy Week. I hope that everyone helps spread the word to the millions of adults with partial or non-passing subject scores on the GED test, as there are several ways to get involved.

Information and links to the campaign materials:

GED Testing Service’s 2002 Series Closeout Campaign
For 70 years adult educators and GED Testing Service have provided a bridge to opportunity for adult learners without a high school diploma. The current version of the GED test will expire in 2013, along with any incomplete scores. Join the 2002 Series Closeout Campaign and tell adult learners finish the GED test by the end of 2013.

-      Post the link for test-takers on your website: www.finishtheGED.com
-      Download the campaign message guide and outreach guide

You have the power to inspire and encourage an adult learner to finish the GED® test and open doors to college, better jobs, and the respect he or she deserves. Studies show that 95 percent of U.S. employers accept the GED® credential for jobs that require a traditional high school diploma. That’s one very good reason to help adults finish the test now. Join the campaign today.

Thank you!
