next online basic tutor training

Tutor Coordinators,

The next online basic tutor training to be offered by TLC will begin on April 23. There will be an orientation webinar at 1pm, which will be recorded for those unable to participate.

 

If you have tutors who are interested in this online basic tutor training please have them email me directly at k...@tlcliteracy.org. I will need their email address, name and program affiliation. I will then send each participant an invitation to the course site and documents relevant to participation in the course. While this course is facilitated and can be done on the participant’s own time, a recommended time line for completion of activities is provided. The training begins with an orientation webinar at 1:00pm on Monday, April 23 https://sas.elluminate.com/m.jnlp?sid=2011455&password=M.0ABE1F20245AB337F523B4A159A112) and ends with a summary webinar; participation in both webinars is highly recommended.

 

This online basic tutor training is considered the equivalent of a 12 hour face to face training and, upon successful completion of the course, participants will be awarded with a certificate of completion.

 

This training is open to all volunteer tutors in PA working or preparing to work with adults, regardless of funding sources of associated programs.
