Jobseekers Buddy Group – 4-6 pm, Library

The Job Seekers Buddy Group will be conducting a “What Color is Your
Parachute” workshop this Tuesday, June 4th from 4:00 – 6:00 pm, in the
library. Contact TeresaMasterson-Howe@thowe@uubelmont.org to reserve a
spot for the workshop.

In addition, The Job Seeker’s Buddy Group plans to have a table at the
Picnic on June 9th to explore ‘networking connections’ with church
members. The Group also hopes to attract new members in job or career
transition to develop their job search skills and explore what they
would like to do in their next job–it meets weekly on Tuesday’s from
4-5:30pm in the library.

The Quilters’ Group and Knitting Circle – Gladys Unger and Eva
Patalas, 7:30 pm, RE Classroom #4
Come join us in making quilts for children at Renewal House, or
knitting for a variety of charity organizations. New members are
always welcome!

*Thursday*
Caring for Older Adults - 7:30-9pm, Conference Room
Miriam Baker and Deborah Blumberg, facilitators
Many people are juggling jobs, families and their parents' or other
family members' increasing medical needs, frequent emergencies and
ongoing need for care. How do we cope with the needs of our loved ones
and find some balance in our own lives? What do we need to learn as we
take on this task? How do we find information and community? If you
find yourself in this position, you are welcome at this group for
discussion and support.
