I am looking for a solution to show different subtitles. I have written something by hand in the following example, but I am not completely satisfied with it. It should be so that the different subtitles are loaded with the various clips. When you click Argument1 should Button1 Array1 Clip1.1 and also Text1.1 appear, and if Argument2 is pressed then Button2 Array1 Clip2.1 and alsoText2.1 should be loaded. See it on Console.

@Mugen87 I looked at that and I assume that I have to install an audio player before it can work. But I only use the THREE.AudioLoader and the THREE.bvhLoader to play the data together. So I do not have a timeline for reference. Is that possible on this way ?
The problem is that THREE.AudioLoader returns decoded audio buffers for AudioBufferSourceNode objects. AFAIK, these WebAudio entities are not compatible with WebVTT. Instead you have to do something like this:
@Mugen87 I have one more question. I have the whole integrated, now the audio files loaded twice. 1. can the subtitles not be executed via audioLoader or clip1? They are already loaded on this way. The subtitles should therefore only be added. 2. for the other arguments different subtitle blocks should can be loaded. Do I not need an array for that? Next -> Argument1 or Argument2 -> Play

I am using the latest version of Premiere Pro, importing subtitles from an SRT file. Once imported, there are many instances where it has merged together two (occassionally three) subtitles, despite their timestamps all appearing to be correctly formatted in the SRT file itself. So for example, the SRT shows three short subtitles, but once imported it is one really long one instead.
I am fairly new to the software, so it could be me thats doing something wrong. To add the SRT, I go to "Import captions from file". I leave format as subtitle, style set to none and start point as Source timecode.
I have searched online, but yet to find anyone who is having this issue. I would be very grateful for any advice, I use a transcription company and was silently blaming them until I double-checked the SRT!
The ending timecode for caption 59 is one millisecond (670) AFTER the beginning timecode for caption 60 (669). The programming logic from PR accepts this but treats it as one caption running from 4:04ish to 4:13ish, as you show in the screenshot.
You can upload subtitles in either SubRip (.srt) or SubViewer (.sub) format. These files can be created using a third-party tool like Amara or Jubler - or your video producer might be able to make them for you.
Where does that leave people like me, who have no hearing or cognitive impairments, and who are fluent in the language being spoken, but still prefer to have subtitles on because they hate missing a snippet of witty repartee? Will the aesthete police come and arrest me? How will I carry on under the withering disapproval of this definitely-way-wiser-than-a-millennial man? And why oh why must my generation ruin everything, starting with toast, all the way up through the economy and workplace norms, and ending with the sacred institution of television? We are, like, the literal worst!
The original site was designed by S. Abbas Raza in 2004 but soon completely redesigned by Mikko Hyppnen and deployed by Henrik Rydberg. It was later upgraded extensively by Dan Balis in 2006. The next major revision was designed by S. Abbas Raza, building upon the earlier look, and coded by Dumky de Wilde in 2013. And this current version 5.0 has been designed and deployed by Dumky de Wilde in collaboration with S. Abbas Raza.
This used to work a year ago, then one of the updates broke it. Initially I figured out Apple just decided to remove this useful feature altogether, but one of the Accessibility options clearly says 'click menu button 3 times to toggle subtitles'. Which means that the fact it no longer works is a bug. I tried tapping the active area (which is how it worked in the past), and clicking Menu button 3 times (which makes no sense, because Menu button takes you out of the movie).
Subtitle settings are available in the AirParrot 3 Settings. Click the Settings gear, choose Preferences and select the "Media Streaming" tab. There are three options for subtitles: Off, On, and Device Default. Because subtitles work differently on different devices, we've outlined the differences in behavior by the device.
Auto - If the Apple TV's "Subtitle Language" is set to "Auto", subtitles will not automatically appear. If the Apple TV's"Subtitle Language" is not the language selected in AirParrot 3, AirParrot 3 will override with its default subtitle language.

I. Subtitles for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (SDH)

Text in each line in a dual speaker subtitle must be a contained sentence and should not carry into the preceding or subsequent subtitle. Creating shorter sentences and timing appropriately helps to accommodate this.
II. English Subtitles

I'm trying to follow this pandoc example to add multiple authors to an Rmarkdown file in the yaml metadata block. The pdf will generate in RStudio (Version 0.98.932), but there is no author information.
If you want to customize your header, the best approach is to modify the latex template, found here to suit your needs. Then copy it to your local directory and pass it to the header in the template field.
As explained in the main answer, the default R Markdown template does not support author affiliations. While users can edit the template file to add their own custom YAML fields, there are easier some workarounds you can use for PDF or HTML outputs.
I've also had this problem. Following the suggestion from @tmpname12345 I modified the latex template (default.tex) and the html template (default.html) to render subtitles. This pull request is on github rstudio/rmarkdown if you want the code quickly, and looks like it will be standard in rmarkdown next time they push to CRAN.
If you are seeking an emotional connection with an audience or potential client, it might be helpful to use their native language. Note: it may also be helpful to think about where non-dominant languages are spoken (example: in New York City) and how you can best make an emotional appeal to these groups.

Contacted Chromecast support. They recommended sending feedback through the Google Home app, as feedback sent from there reaches the right team. And indeed, there is a Feedback option with the Chomecast device in Google Home. I've sent feedback, let's all send feedback so the right people become aware of the issue and the scope of it.
Yes, tried this because it's documented on many forums in discussions about this issue. The cc settings in Android do not affect this issue, despite even D+ insistence that it does. (In my last communication with D+ support, they acknowledged that it doesn't make a difference, and that there's an issue between app and Chromecast that needs to be fixed.) And why should these settings help? In-app subtitles for D+ are an entirely different animal than accessibility cc settings for Android. It would make no sense at all for these settings to affect the issue under discussion.
Well it kinda worked for me. Tho the text is bigger but, sometimes its back to small. Not only that but its impossible to get off that annoying black background. I did the same on my ps4 (Accessibility) and it worked tho the font remained the same. It makes no sense to me either but it seems to be that the app uses CC and Subtitles from the device not from the app. Wich is stupid I know. But this is the only thing that partially worked for me. One thing tho everytime i want to watch something i need to redo the steps turning off and on the subtitles on my phone prior to open the app. So honestly idk. Same thing for Star+. If not they go small by default again. And I agree the problem is the app, they need to make own subtitles settings as Netflix or prime video. HBO Max has awful Subtitles for Chromecast too.
I spoke too soon, tried reproducing the issue and "workaround" again but now it does nothing... But I swear I had it working on a few occasions today, I will try to re-trace my steps and see if I can figure it out and report back here if I learn anything new...
