AVD manager is still more easy to use with google devices, but still worse in possible customisation.

How is in latest version possible to emulate device like Samsung Galaxy Note?
I also found skin for it https://github.com/rayesh/android-emulator-skins/, but if I put it to the skins folder in sdk/platforms/android-10 it is not possible to choose it.
Also is not possible configure custom resolution and density
Also predefined types of screen doesn't contain Note screen type.

Are you using r21?

Go to the device definition tab in the AVD Manager, and create a device that matches the Galaxy note. Then you'll be able to create any number of AVD from this device without having to reenter its hardware profile every time.

Yes those skins are obsolete.

Hi Xavier,

Are you saying using the skins folder under platform (or add-ons?) are obsolete or those specific ones are?

thanks,
Dario

Yes, sorry I miss Device Definitions tab :-( With it is possible everything and I agree that this is much better solution that enter diplay and HW info again and again. Thanks!
