Website not approved or disapproved after over a week, not sure why?

I applied for Adsense over a week ago and received an email saying my application has been successfully reviewed and I need to place my first ad unit on the website, which I have done (using Wix), but when I go to Adsense it still has the "reviewing your site will take up to 3 days, we'll email you when we are done" message with no further email updates.
