If you were unable to attend today's meeting for whatever reason, here's a summary of what we talked about.

As always, email me if you have any questions or comments. Have a great week.

Hey,

Just looking at the meeting summary about paying online, and I know
other clubs who are using Paypal right now for people to pay their
dues, and its quick and easy.

Let me know, and I can ask some people how they did that; or if you've
already got this part covered.

For the webstore, we have a PayPal account setup, but what we need help with is for people who want to pay with credit cards in person. For example, when we have a table on Trousdale, many people have no cash, so we miss out on a good deal of sales. Would you be able to look into that, though?

We can set up a computer with broadband access and have people pay by
paypal that way.

As for the portable credit card swiping machines, I don't know anyone
who's done that. I remember the old carbon copy of credit cards with
those rollers. But I'm not sure how that works either.

Hmm... those are both interesting. I've seen the portable credit card sliders before, even on Trousdale when sometimes there are people there with clothing or things along those lines. I'm not sure, but I think that you have to create a bank account. We need a person or two to look into it more.

Well, if you're talking about the sidewalk sales, I believe those are
done by the Bookstore, and I'm sure they have their own systems and
accounts.

I'm sure that we'll figure it all out soon.
