ADP@USC Dream Team,

Below is the information on the events later this month. Let me know if you're interested in attending. As mentioned at Sunday's meeting, we are the co-sponsor for the event on the 23rd. If you want to help set up and table for that event, just email me.

Dear Jon,

Thank you for your messages, and I hope you are having a wonderful week so far. I have attached the Physicians for Human Rights HIV Town Hall Forum flier and email announcement to this email, in case you would like to email the information to your members. I will post large posters of the event on the USC main campus next week. USC's UNICEF is the other undergraduate student organization from USC that will be at the event (the rest of the orgs are from USC Keck and UCLA). The event will start at 12pm, but student organizations will be arriving at 11:30am to set up their tables (I will have more details soon). If ADP members would just like to attend and would not like to have a table, that is wonderful as well! We want ADP to get the most out of the event, so please feel free to participate in any way you feel is best for ADP.

Also, in response to your question, the Doctors Without Borders event on October 21st will truly be a wonderful experience. They are currently doing a national tour, so they will be in Los Angeles in October. They are hosting 3 events, and the one that you mentioned will feature a guest speaker who is a humanitarian aid worker, and he will be talking about malnutrition and children's health. For the other event hosted by Doctors Without Borders, USC Keck medical and public health students will be visiting their refugee camp exhibit in Griffith Park on October 24th, and ADP is more than welcome to come with us. They will also host a guest lecture on October 28th by Dr. James Orbinski, who won the Nobel Peace Prize and has worked tirelessly for global health efforts in Africa. All the event details about the 3 L.A. events can be found at their website:

Have a great week!

I'll be there! Just let me know how I can help! Is there any way we can get some jewelry for our tables?

Definitely. I'm going to try to get some for you to check out this weekend. Will you be driving there? Also, what time are you available to be there?

I can be there whenever, I don't have classes on the 23rd. And yes I can drive there. If anyone needs a ride, let me know.
