Please all, I'm begging for Ben to be saved via foster (or intake w/ a reputable group who can offer foster)! He's fully-vetted and his finders have offered to pay all future expenses until he gets adopted.

These folks have spent $1000's already on heartworm treatment and three months of boarding at their vet's officebut feel it's more humane to put him down b/c he's going stir-crazy in boarding. He is not being exercised and as a result, when we've tried to show him to potential adopters, he acts like a wild-child b/c he's so excited to be out of his kennel. Imagine how you'd feel if you were spending the bulk of your youth in a kennel.

This is a gem of a dog -- he likes all people including kids; he ignores cats and he seems to like other dogs. The folks that found him could not keep them at their home b/c one of their dogs seemed to take issue w/ him. He was fine with their other.

If anyone can please please give fostering a try, please contact me at ja...@doggieharmony.org or our vet tech friend, Sandra, who works where he's boarding at poohp...@aol.com. We can't let him be put down after everyone's great efforts to save him! Please please!

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, declawed, good with kids, most dogs and cats.

Big Ben's Story...Big Ben was found by folks who've been paying boarding on him since Sept. -- they can no longer afford to keep him boarded and think the best thing to do is put him down. He's 100% healthy and fully-vetted. Like his namesake, Big Ben is a charming and trusty friend who enjoys playing with dogs and children; he doesn't seem to mind cats. He looks to be perhaps a rottweiler-shepherd mix, or perhaps just another Heinz-57 mutt. Let me tell you something about those Heinz-57's -- they end up being one of the best dogs you'll ever have! Please contact me at ja...@doggieharmony.org or Sandra at poohp...@aol.com if you can offer Big Ben a home -- temp or perm!
