Central Florida Business Intelligence Community?

Some us are pondering getting together Business Intelligence Topics
locally in the Orlando area. We are wondering if anyone on this list
is interested.

Step one is to get a list of interested parties together, hence this
message. Please go to: http://groups.google.com/group/orlandobi and
'Apply for group membership'. Perhaps include what your interests are
on BI and reports, etc. to get things going.

As for myself, I've been doing Analytics for my employer with a mix of
home brewed applications for ETL and MicroStrategy for reporting for a
year and change. I have taken a few courses in both MicroStrategy and
Informatica (ETL) as well as, played with Pentaho.

This puts me at the absolute beginner for BI but I am making great
strides in my education. Is anyone here interested in joining, at
least, a list hoping to meet in the near future?

Feel free to pass this message around to anyone who may be interested
so I can add them to list.
