Description
The Software Engineer uses software development tools to create new
applications and/or enhance applications to support the operation of
IOD Imaging Department. Under minimal direction, is competent to
perform the tasks associated with the following stages of the
application software life-cycle:

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Application Development of IOD developed products using IOD approved
application and database development
languages
- Follow IOD software development methodology
- Document software setups
- Provide support of applications
- Perform Quality Assurance
- Assist with gathering new software requirements
- Assist on new site implementations
- Perform training on developed systems

Requirements
REQUIRED
Technical:
- Cold Fusion
- VB.Net
- MSSQL Query Writing

Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, MIS or other computer
programming related degree or equivalent experience.

Experience/Knowledge:
- System development lifecycle
- Version control
- Writing technical documentation
- 5+ years of programming experience
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Effective problem solving skills

PREFERRED
Technical:
- Flex
- iOS Development
- SQL Reporting

Licensure/Certification
- Adobe ColdFusion
- MCAD or MCSD

Experience/Knowledge:
- Healthcare industry experience
- Document imaging experience
- Product manager experience
