I'm using Acrobat Reader for MacOS X and Linux and I want to sign documents using an e-token. But when I want to register the token within the pkcs#11-Modules I geht the Message "Cannot register PKCS#11-Module".
Any suggestions?

The problem under Linux and Mac ist not to sign a document but to import the pkcs#11-module.
thats not the only document I want to sign. But the signing-process itself is not the problem ... I can't import the pkcs#11-library, so I've got no chance to access the token under Acrobat Reader.
This problem occurs on mac and linux; on windows it ist possible to sign documents within the adobe acrobat reader.
You can use the document under the following link for digitally sign this
document while using Adobe Acrobat Reader V7.0 under Windows XP.
If that's the only pdf you want to sign, great. Otherwise, you'll have to purchase the Reader Extension server product to enable all of your PDFs
As far is the error, sounds like Acrobat doesn't recognize the token. Check with the people that provided the token. Does it work on Windows?
I also came across the same problem. I too could not load the pkcs#11 module in Adobe Reader>Security>Add PKCS#11 Module on my PPC MAC 10.4.7 machine. It gave me error "Could not load PKCS#11 module". Do you now able to find a work around for the problem, if so please let me know?
Thanks,
-Harsh.
unfortunately i've got no work arround yet. I let you know, if i can fix the problem.
