I have no idea have to change or edit info in a pdf file if it is sent to me from someone else. I have Acrobat Reader Version 8.1.2

Typically you can't unless it is a form with active form fields.

You can find pdf to word converters on Google I think most of them are paid options, although you could try and pick up a few trials!

I don't think you can edit a PDF unless you can get a pdf to word converter program. See if you can find something like this with a Google search.

And if it is a scanned image in PDF form, you're out of luck even with a PDF to Word converter.

You cannot edit a pdf file with a pdf reader.
