Could not create Stream database

Has anyone had this problem. I created a pdf document and sync-ed it to my palm. Now everytime I try to access this file I get the following message: Could not create Stream database. When I click OK, the next screen says Fatal Alert Fatal Exception and then the palm resets/reboots itself.

My computer operating system is Windows XP. The Palm is a Tungsten E2 and I just installed the most recent version of Adobe Reader for Palm.

Does anyone have any suggestions for this problem?
