Hi, I replaced my stock of old inkjet printers with a new bw laser
printer, a Brother HL 2030. Now I wonder if there are some freeware
processor to be found so I can use this printer as if it had a build
in PS firmware. -- Thank's

Look at www.linuxprinting org (this is the old URL for the open printing
database) for that printer. If it is listed there, you'll learn how to print
PostScript jobs on that printer.

Sorry engish is not my prime language, -- what I want is to brush up
my ability for recursive programming, and what is better for that than
P.S.
But the problem with this priner is that it is a plain laser printer,
without I guess a P.S. post processor. So I am looking for software to
simulate the postScript features with various more expensive laser
printers. --- Like the option to send a few lines of recursive code
for a fractal to the printer.
Thank's

If you are simply trying to learn to use Postscript, then download a copy
of Ghostscript (www.ghostscript.com) and use that. It will display the
result on your display and save you from wasting paper in your printer.
