My Photoshop Keeps Crashing

just got done rebooting my computer about 20mins ago and i goto open up

photoshop and it crashes when its trying to open and says:

Adobe Photoshop CS2 has encountered a problem and needs to close.

We are sorry for the inconvenience.

have tryed to reinstall it, rebooted again and same shit any

on how to fix this?

That says nothing about the present. (My exploded TV worked perfectly during the 1980's).

Have you tried the suggestion YrbkMgr made in post 1? I'd say too, that must be it.

that the thing the splash screen doesnt show, it crashes before that comes up :(

In that case: you have a bad install, a very corrupt system install, or some kind of virus.

worked fine for 2 months with no problems :(, and i have scanned my computer and i dont have any viruses, spy ware or anything, tha computer i have it own is custom built so its not that :(

yes ive tryed that, today i had someone i know that uses Photoshop 7 to come over and he installed it for me and it worked fine, then we uninstalled 7 and reinstalled CS2 and it still crashes :(

Fonts are examined at launch....
And you haven't told us what the splash screen says when it crashes.

It could be corrupt preferences, or a bad printer or scanner driver, or a corrupt font (at least, those are the most common causes).
