I have made two attempts to download CS3 on a trial basis, each time at the end of the download I get a "fatal error " message. Why is this ?

Could be that CS3 is no longer available as a trial.

Virus scanner? Insufficient space in your temporary directory? Permission issues?

Mostly you should not repost to a new thread when you have the same problem in a different thread. It just means you have to look two places to get help, and the people who might help you will be asking you questions that were already asked in the other one (which makes us cranky).

Combined threads. As Don says...one thread is quite enough.

I just got the fatal error also.

If I have to disable the AV during download, it becomes a no-brainer. Don't do it.

The first thread was a typo error.I was advised that CS3 was not available. I reposted as a separate issue.
