OK...wait, I think the paths have to be shapes. How do I make all my paths into shapes?

I have a file that has a lot of paths drown in it. When I save as EPS the "Include Vector Data" box is greyed out. What do I have to do to "Ungrey" it?

Fill or stroke the path.

there are a few ways.

First thing you could try - with the path selected, create a new 'solid-color adjustment layer'. Or go to layer>new layer>solid color. This will create a new layer that has a vector mask in the shape of your path.

You will then have the option to select what color you want that layer to be.

Basically it is the same thing as having a 'vector shape layer'.
