CS2: how to get rid of register dialog?

I already registered, but the register dialog comes up everytime I run photoshop.

Clicking do not register doesn't help. Next time I start photoshop the same dialog comes up again.

How do I get rid of this?

Known issue...turn off UAC and register. You can turn it back on but for
the life of me I can't imagine why you'd want to.

I have exactly this same issue... and I was looking for a solution to this here. But I don't know what UAC is ??? Can anybody explain me where I'll find it, what it does and how I can turn it off ??
