I accidently hit some key combo that maximized my photoshop window over the entire windows desktop including the windows taskbar. It also no longer shows the titlebar for photoshop where the minimize, close and maximize buttons are located. I do this at least once every 6 months and I have to ask how to fix it as I cannot remember from time to time other than there is a key combo to fix it. I have Win 98SE and Photoshop 6.01

Thank for your help!

Hit the (letter)"F" key, and/ or SHIFT+F a few times, and observe the results. Your image window will cycle back around. Try it a bunch of times, so you get a handle on how it works.

Now, try the same with "TAB" and SHIFT+TAB.

Izzat what you were looking for?

BINGO!
Must have been typing in something and hit the F key. That worked perfectly.

Thank you very much!

Hope I can remember next time how to fix it. :)

You're quite welcome.

I'm confident that you will remember, Sherri, now that you've had the solution pointed out to you and you have made a pointed exercise of examining the behavior.

Also, look at the lower portion of your Tool Bar. See those 3 icons side-by-side-by-side? This is the only place on the Tool Bar where icons always stand 3 abreast. Try them, and see what happens when you have an image document window open.

Perhaps you might want to look at this page, and the downloads available, at Trevor Morris's site <http://user.fundy.net/morris/redirect.html?photoshop1.shtml>. You will find lots of good info there.
