How does one put a Photoshop file into Email... aside from tricky stuff in ImageReady, how do you get a file saved for the web into an email page?

Thanks

Not exactly sure what you mean. Some e-mail programs like Outlook Express and Mozilla have a preview pane that will display images if the recipient has it set to do that. If you attach a jpeg or gif it should show up in this pane. You can also attach an HTML page, which I see a lot. Is that what you mean? Or do you just want to know how to attach a file?

Marv,
I'm no expert and I'm using old PS 4, but whenever I
want to 'send' a PS image via e-mail, I first convert it to JPEG (it'll have to be completely 'flattened')...72dpi or 96dpi is just fine, and somewhere in the neighborhood of 500-700 pixels, depending on how 'good' you want it to look and the
receiving capabilities of your recipient. I'll re-name
the file "blah-blah.jpg" and, for convenience, save it to my desktop...then simply send it as an attachment.
Hope this helps a little.

If you want to send a native photoshop file thru email.. then stuff or zip (if going to pc) it.. then send the stuffed or zipped fileit as an attachment.

If you want the image to show up in the email... just for viewing them save it as a jpeg... use the save for web function... then send as an attachment. A good size for an email image is 612x792ppi (roughly an 8.5x11 at 72 ppi) at this size the image will fill the email message window without having to scroll sideways & it will be large enough to be readable with out being too big for most mailboxes.
