I know the printer is connected properly and prints fine from other applications such as InDesign. Is there some setting I am unaware of or overlooking in Photoshop?
After all the firedrills, I took my 10.26 Powerbook on site and the same problem.
The book printed my 2200 fine here.
SHORT:
I got Epson on the phone, went through their firedrills and they repaced the printer.
Not sure what really did the trick but I think this may:
Turn off the printer for a good couple of minutes. While you are waiting delete any print queues for that printer. Power off CPU, power on the printer then power up the CPU and (hopefully) create new queues.
Some people had success only after deleting the Epson Driver parts and reinstalling.
>my custom epson profiles print magenta...any ideas.
That magenta error sounds like the difference between AdobeRGB and a monitor-type RGB.
Are you printing AdobeRGB with SameAsSource Print Space?
In the Epson utility:
Document Space (embedded tag)
Print Space (custom profile)
NO COLOR ADJUSTMENT
