I'm making gif images and want to add music to these. I haven't a clue how to do this. Can someone please point me in the right direction? Thank you.

You can't.

gifs are images, that can not contain audio data. If you want both images and audio Flash is your best bet.

No, wrong app. You need Flash or perhaps one of the inexpensive consumer-level photo album-type utilities. I assume you don't want to invest in a Premier/After Effects workflow.

Photoshop Extended can mix audio and video/animation/stills but you still cannot do this in a GIF file as the GIF format does not support audio.
