What filter or combination of filters can be used to create images in the Impressionist art style (eg Degas, Renoir)?

Try www.reallyusefulpages.com --2 onsite tutorials about painting. or Try his book "50 Fast Digital Photo Techniques" through Amazon.com or google search engine.

There are no button solutions that will give you imprssionist, surrealist or cubist renderings in any software program. They will just give you the brushes and algorithms. As you apply filters make sure you take a before and after look at your histograms too. That's where you see what you are doing to your pixels....87)
