I just loaded Elements 2.0 and opened it. I get the following message: "Unable to load Photoshop Element's interface font. Instead, using a substitute font. The interface may not look optimal. We strongly suggest that you reboot the system and launch Photoshop Element again."

Well, I have closed Windows 98 three times and still get this message!

Going past the above message, I get the following message: "UI font not loaded ...."

Any suggestions will GREATLY be appreciated! THANKS!

Hi

I got this message after I did an internet update of Photoshop Elements 1.0 in Win Me but that message disappeared after I rebooted. However, I'm still getting a longstanding message:

"Unable to load Adobe UI font. Instead, using a substitute font. The interface may not look optimal."

Like you, I would appreciate help regarding this.

That message can sometimes be cleared up by simply deleting prefs or doing a reinstall.
