My department has used PageMaker on Macs for many years now and have many documents that include tables created using Adobe Table 2.5 and 3.0. I am now using a PC with PM 7.0.1a for Windows and need to use table editor but it does not seem to install with PM 7.0 for Windows. The manual accompanying the application refers to ADobe Table (Chap 9) as does the on-line help files but there is no sign of Adobe Table either on my hard drive or the installation disk. Is it truly the case that Adobe Table is not installed with PM 7.0 for Windows?

If you did a custom install, you'll need to do another and make sure you scroll down in the choices for what is to be installed.

I only needed the table editor without installing pagemaker from the disk. Installed OK with only this option checked. Even the folder it installed to was moved to another PC and it still ran with a shortcut of the exec placed on the desktop.

Not a waste. You're not the first to stumble on that.
