Sorry, but the only way to open PM files is with PM.

Hi Lyn
Except that I am awake at a decent hour and not in the wee hours of the
morning as you are :-)
Gues you are going to have to find someone who has Pagemaker. Know any printshops?
I don't know if Adobe still has a trial download for PM, but I think
there is one for InDesign, which will open PM files.
You can download a trial version of PM7 from <http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=34&platform=Windows>
PM7 will open PM5 files, and from there you can extract the text or create a PDF.

I was in Edinburgh last week, sampling the national drink (a 16 yo Lagavulin)
and diet (haggis with neeps and tatties).

Do they have them in Scotland?
We have just started seeing a few of them around town here in Melbourne, (Australia) although as yet, I haven't ventured into one.
It looks like the Kinkos are only in London. <http://www.kinkos.co.uk/companyinfo/locations.html>
