I've looked, but alas cannot find how to make an object (or text) non-printing in ID2.0. I know it is an option in the print dialog, but how do I make it non-printing in the document? Thanks...

Select the object or frame, then on the Attributes palette, select "Nonprinting".

or make a spearate non-printing layer and just turn this off before printing
(or viewing as well if you want to check what's printing and what's not).

Thanks, Gene. Ken, I really don't need to make the effort to create a separate layer, just to 'quickly' make some things non-printing.

Having said that, is there any shortcut key (Ctrl-key) or menu item that allows me to make something non-printing?

Thanks again...

What about making the text the same colour as the background?
