can't open pagemaker 7.0 documents in CS3 on Vista

Despite Adobe documentation that says it will work - NOTHING happens when I try to open my Pagemaker 7.0 documents in my Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium version of InDesign on my Vista home premium computer.
I have 4 GB of RAM and 2x250 GB of hard drive (about 200 free) so it should not be a resource problem.

This was a known issue with CS2 but thought it would be fixed for CS3.
It's worth noting that it's a Window issue that Adobe would need to
workaround.
