I have a problem with unequal column widths. I found a question from Javajeff, may 13 2002, in the archieve, where he mention his troubleties with dragging guides as the manual says.
Kathy Carlisle answered back, that it is easy to drag the guides you have made in the layout menu.!!!
Well, I have made a text box. Then I go to Text Frame option, choose 3 columns, and 5 mm in Gutter. I don't tick the "Fixed Column Width". Now I have 3 columns. Then the manual tells me, that I can drag the column width with my Selction Tool (Black Arrow). But I can't!! If I make "normal" guides on my Master Page, then my text don't use those guides as Columns. Can somebody help me ASAP? Jens from DK

My understanding is, you can drag page column guides but the text box only allows for equal columns.

If you want uneven columns, drag your page guides where you want them and make individual text boxes for each column.
