Hi,

I'm somewhat of an ID noob, so apologies if I'm missing something obvious. I want to create a sequence of text paragraphs, where each line of text in a paragraph follows a curved baseline. I know that for a single line, I can use text on a path. For multiple lines of text, I could just paste copies of the first path, one beneath the other. But I then would have to manually take care of line spacing, line wrapping and all the other good stuff you get for free with text frames which, for a larger body of text, would be painful. Is this possible in ID or, if not, one of the other CS applications?

Thanks,
Beaker.

No. But you are on the right track with copy paste. Instead, though, I'd use step and repeat to give you the spacing you want. Click the path with the text-on-a-path tool first to get it ready to accept text before you duplicate, then you can thread the ouport of one path to the inport of the next and the wrap will be automatic.
