It might be worth trying some of the suggestions in the techdoc at
http://www.adobe.com/support/techdocs/20426.htm (the instructions relate to
OS9, so the paths and folder would be slightly different on OS X).

I'm having trouble opening In Design. Error message says required fonts or Cmap files are missing, please reinstall. Have tried reinstalling three times, but nothing works. I suspect I'm not removing it right (dragging folder to trash) but can't find a removal utility on the Install disk. Thanks for any help!
