I have ID CS3.
MANY programs have “recently used fonts” in the fonts menu that shows about 10
of the last fonts you used.
This is VERY quick and handy.

I'd personally prefer that the font menu show the fonts already used in this document (recent or not) than recent fonts I might have used in some other document.
