Status Bar Gone

I'm using Illustrator 9, and today my status bar is missing. I have rebooted my computer--sometimes a good fix for whatever is ailing--but still nada. No help in User Guide or FAQs. HELP!

Is Status Bar the only thing missing? If your Title Bar is also gone, then use the Tab key to cycle throught the different layout screen views. If that's not it, you might need to delete your hidden AIPrefs file.
