Is there a inexpensive mac software to convert illustrator vector files into digitized embroidery files used by sewing machines like husqvarna viking. .hus files

of course, I had never heard of Power Stitch until now...
350 sounds good actually, and they even have it available for OSX!!

Go have a look at PowerStitch <http://www.textiletech.com>. Looks like just what you need. In fact, it almost makes me wish I had a software-driven embroidering machine.

I can do that with Punto, but it was way more expensive than it's usage gives.

Are there any inexpensive CAD softwares (?), I'd say not.

There are small shops (if you live in a city) that can digitize emby for you for about 100 dollars. just tell them the format you need, and they give you a disk.

Thats what I do, as the emby software if very difficult to comprehend for a graphic designer.
