When I save an image as an eps it crops it too close and cuts off part of a letter. I can't seem to figure out what's going on. I've tried to place a white box around the image to save it, but that doesn't seem to work either. Any suggestions?

I believe that this is one of the issues that was fixed in AI v.10.0.3.
An unfilled, unstroked box that is larger than the objects, usually fixed the problem with earlier versions.

It's not fixed in 10.0.3 because it still happens on EVERY eps file, however your fix is what I have been doing to get around it since 10.0 came out, and it works fine.

The eps files are fine, and don't get clipped, if placed in InDesign -- perhaps you are using QXP?
