I'm back and just as "code-challenged" as ever. :)
I have a Web Page with a form that I tried to set up a while back. I downloaded the script from Nate's site (and maybe Matt's site?) and thought I followed the instructions, but couldn't get it to work So I decided to hire a code person to fix it for me. He never followed up on it and I've been too busy to pursue it until now.
I would be so very grateful if someone would hold my hand and walk me through this process.
Fortunately this client is really a gem! He understands what happened because he has also had to do business with my code guy. Actually the code guy referred me to design this site, of which I am grateful. I think he just has too much on his plate.
Here is a link to the page I started a while back.

...of course, post back here if you run into issues.
I asked the following questions to him:
1) What is the Path to Perl Interpreter? He said something like "504..." and talked on and on so fast that I couldn't comprehend a word he said. I asked him again and got another bunch of words that went past me.
2) What is the Path to the Server's SendMail program? He said something like "same line of code - CGI Bin..."
3) What special requirements are there for installing custom CGI scripts? He said "no special requirements..." and continued talking...
NATE: What if I hire you to set this up and you send me two documents? One with the scripts all set and another copy with the special scripts highlighted. This would help me understand. Send me an email and lets talk about what it would cost me please. graph...@aol.com
Anyway, there's no reason why we'd have to use that particular script. I'll send you that email and we'll see what we can get working from there...
Please check your email. I just called the guy again and he announced that the form is done. I wish he would have told me earlier. I told him I was getting some help from another source. Oi!
