Frame 7 to Frame 8 -- DLL?

Our company recently upgraded from Frame 7 to Frame 8 and now the
custom menus are not functioning properly. We used to be able to open
a template from the menu (File > Open > Federated > Prospectus) and
the template would automatically open and promt for a job number. In
Frame 8, nothing happens when we repeat the same actions. The DLL was
updated to reflect the new path.

Is there a conflict with libraries bwetween the two versions? I've
gone quite mad trying to figure out why it's not working!
