Not simultaneously!
In sequence, press and relese the following--it IS case sensitive
Esc
F
l
k
(where "l" is lowercase L)

My FM 7.0 doc is stuck in View-Only mode and I can't get it out! I found the following text in FM Help, but the keystroke combination (ESC Shift+flk)doesn't work. Am I crazy? I'm hitting Esc+shift+f+l+k all simultaneously. My doc is on a slow network. Has anyone out there seen this before, let me know.

To change a view-only document to Document format:
Do one of the following:
If the Hypertext dialog box is open, click Make Editable.
Press Esc Shift+f l (lowercase L) k. This keystroke also works for a book.
Note: (Mac OS) To look at a locked, view-only document in FrameMaker, open it with the File > Open command, or drag the document onto the FrameMaker application icon.

You're the best - I cut and pasted the above help text, I honestly didn't catch the upper case F, nor the non-simultaneous nature of the keystrokes. Thanks a million - have a great weekend!
