This is not a question regarding the menu-driven update failure with the junction FAQ addresses. I've checked my junctions, they are fine. :)

I had a successful CS4 Prod. Prem. install. Whew....

My question is this. there are many, many updated on the download page for components of this suite. Some of which are different languages, things I don't need, etc.

I did a selective install of CS4 Prod. Prem. If I go into each application and invoke the update, will it give me a choice of what updates to install or just slam them all in?? For example, Soundbooth has a multitude of scores, some of which I may want, some I many not.

And if I don't have the junction problem, is the menu-update process normally pretty good? I don't want to have to go through hours of uninstall and re-install just for a few updates.

Or is just installing them manually a better approach? However it is not always clear which update supercedes a previous one or if they both need to be installed.

Thanks for any input,
BJBBJB
