Linked EMF Illustrations (CS-CS3) in Framemaker

Illustrations (EMF) made in CS-CS3 loose some part of the frame when linked in to a Framemaker document and printed or converted to PDF. It doesn't look very good. Anybody have any knowledge about why and if it is possible to fix this problem?
If the illustrator is made in Illustrator 10 (the last version before CS), this problem doesn't occur.

Please post in the Framemaker and/or Illustrator forum. When you do, be
prepared to hear that you should be using something other than EMF files.
