Hi! Is it possible to slow down the speed of "Lightning", like slow motion? The speed slide wouldn't do it...

Regards / Jimmy

The "speed" of Advanced Lighting is controlled by the conducivity state. Increase the amount of time between keyframes and/or reduce the amount of change between keyframes.

And if you are using the old "Lighting" plug-in, stop using it. Always use Advanced Lighting.

Thanks Navarro!!! Advanced Lightning is totally great (but slow)!

I have no luck with the "conductivity state" slider. Get no slow motion effect when keyframing time and/or amount. Know of any example on the web showing this?

Best Regards / Jimmy

Even in slow motion there will be discrete jumps in the lightning. It is simply the nature of the fractal to have some discontinuities. However, it should still look like slow motion if the keyframes are close enough in value.

Try animating the conductive state between two very small amounts (like Keyframe 1 = .5 and Keyframe 2 = .6

That "should" make your electricity more of an arc rather than jittery lightning.

Wow, now it works! With "close enough values" like .5-.6 AND setting fractal type to "spline" its beautiful! TOR, here I come!

Thanks for your help!!!
