How do I pull the ends of multiple layers in the timeline? When I select a few layers, I can only stretch one of them.

Lucas,
Only way I know to stretch multiple layers is use the trim function, which is option/alt ] or [ depending on whether you want to trim the front of back of the layers.

Holding down option and dragging the ends of the layers still only affects one layer at a time. What am I doing wrong?

He means trimming via a keystroke, not by dragging. There isn't any way to drag multiple layers' in or out points.
