Importing Premiere Pro Files to After Effects

I have attempted several times to import Premiere Pro files into After Effects 6.0. The files not only will not import -- when I try to access the Pro files from After Effects, the files are not even visible in their folders.

Does anyone know how to correct this problem?

I remember reading about this in another thread...
The solution was to have After Effects 6 installed on your system before you install Premiere Pro. Then Premiere Pro is able to place a plugin for importing Premiere Pro Files to After Effects.

Right - this means you are going to have to reinstall Premiere Pro.
